Online Student Registration

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!

For 2018-19, parents/guardians will be able to quickly and easily register their new and returning student(s) from any Internet-capable computer and/or mobile device. In addition, computers and tablets will be available for parents/guardians on the registration days of August 7 and 8 at our school locations to complete the online registration process. It is our goal to not only simplify the registration process for our families, but also for our schools to reduce paperwork and have access to information quickly and easily.

Please make sure your student’s school has correct parent email addresses and be on the lookout for more information to come in the near future via newspaper, email, call-outs, and social media.

Our New Assistant Principal

Edwards Elementary School would like to welcome Mrs. Angie Tucker as the new assistant principal for the 2018-2019 school year. Mrs. Tucker has served in CCSD for 19 years as a resource teacher and most recently literacy coach of EES. Mrs. Tucker is looking forward to continuing the vision at Edwards of Educating Everyone Successfully. Mrs. Tucker's knowledge and expertise will be an asset at EES.

April Student of the Month

Congratulations to Latara Garrett for being selected as the Student of the Month for April at Edwards Elementary School. Latara is in Mrs. Karin Taylor's fourth grade class.

Family Math Night

On Tuesday, February 20 parents were invited to come to Edwards Elementary School to see what their children are learning in math. Teachers met with parents briefly to talk with them about ways that they can help their children at home, while the students played math games to practice skills that they have been working on in class. Then the parents joined the students and participated in some of the math games. It was a fun night!

Pennies for Patients

Students at Edwards Elementary are Champions of Change again this year. They raised $4043.47 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in our Pennies for Patients Drive.
