November Students of the Month

Ayden Rivers has been named the EES Student of the Month for November! Ayden's teacher, Mrs. Sellers, says, "Ayden is a kind and phenomenal student. He strives to do his best each and every day on all assignments. He is a wonderful friend to all his classmates and is also willing to share a kind word to make others feel special. I am extremely proud of all of Ayden's accomplishments." Congratulations Ayden for being chosen Edwards Elementary's November Student of the Month! The EES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Ayden has been provided a sign to display proudly in his yard during the month of November!

EES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a Student of the Month button. ABC Employees of the Month for November

Congratulations to Ms. Tina Anderson and Mrs. Rhonda Brock- the EES ABC employees for November! Ms. Anderson is a CERDEP teacher and Mrs. Brock is our Cafeteria Manager. Both of them are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Ms. Anderson and Mrs. Brock! EES appreciates you!

Literacy Night at EES

2nd Grade Testing Information

Chesterfield County School District will be administering the Cognitive
Abilities Test (CogAt) and the Iowa Assessment to ALL 2nd grade students.
This is a mandatory state test that will help identify students who may be
eligible for our district’s gifted and talented program. Also, these
assessments give teachers useful information to identify effective teaching
strategies for all students.

October Students of the Month

Congratulations to Ostin Martinez who has been named the EES Student of the Month for October! Ostin's teacher, Ms. Watson, says, "Ostin is an amazing student whose smile and energy can brighten up anyone's day!" Congratulations Ostin being chosen Edwards Elementary's October Student of the Month! The EES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Grandparents' Breakfast
