New Assistant Principal, Mrs. Leaci Dudley
Dear EES Family,
Please welcome Mrs. Leaci Dudley to Edwards Elementary as Assistant Principal!
Mrs. Dudley joined CCSD in 2021 as a District Instructional Technology Specialist in the Chesterfield attendance area. She has served in various leadership roles throughout her 11-year professional career in Marlboro and Chesterfield Counties. She has impacted many students through her role as a classroom teacher of grades 3-6, Gifted and Talented Coordinator and Reading Coach. Mrs. Dudley has led professional development opportunities for teachers as a Google Certified Trainer, empowering teachers to learn and use Google for education products to make their classrooms more efficient, improve student outcomes and foster leadership skills.
Mrs. Dudley received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and Master of Arts Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College; and her Master of Education Degree in Education Leadership from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. She has fulfilled the rigorous requirements to become a Google Certified Trainer as well as being endorsed by the SC Department of Education in the areas of Gifted and Talented, Read to Succeed Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach.
Mrs. Dudley believes that literacy is the key to unlocking success in all content areas. She stated, “I am excited for the opportunity to serve as Assistant Principal under Mrs. Caroline Miles’ leadership. I look forward to a great school year with the Edwards Elementary School Family!” Mrs. Dudley and her husband, Rodney, have two daughters- Kamille and Kelci. Welcome, Mrs. Dudley!
