Guidance Corner

My name is Jessica Elvington and I am the School Counselor at Edwards Elementary.

My mission is to help all students with any situations they may encounter throughout the school day or during the school year that can hinder them from being the best learner they can be.  I am here to create and support a positive learning environment for all students so they may succeed academically, emotionally, and socially, and prepare them to be responsible and successful members of our community.

I do classroom visits and Guidance Lessons throughout the year related to that month’s character trait or another special topic.  I work with teachers, parents, and students to support students’ academic, emotional, and social needs.  I am available to meet with students individually as needed by request.

How to contact me:

Email: jelvington@chesterfieldschools.org

Phone:  843-623-2351

Or let your student’s teacher know!
