My name is Shari Caskey.  I am the School Librarian at Edwards.  I am beginning my 33rd year as a teacher.  I started out in third grade for 7 years.  Then I taught first grade for 5 years.  And this will be my 21st year in the library.  I love sharing books with children and instilling in them a love for reading!

 

My favorite thing to do, besides reading, is to spend time with my family.  I have two sons.  My oldest son, Kevin is married to my wonderful daughter-in-law Emily.  My youngest son is Adam.  He is beginning his first year as a PE teacher in the district this year.  And my husband is Michael.  We enjoy traveling, going to sporting events and going to movies together.  We enjoy family game nights at home too. 

 

I also love to shop!  And in the summer time there is nowhere I'd rather be than sitting on the beach with a good book!

 

I can't wait to see all those sweet children come through the library doors this year!
